Payment

A deposit of €300 is required to secure a place and is refunded except in the case of damage, breakages, if the student leaves during the academic year or if the student does not take the room after having secured it.

Glenard is open throughout the entire academic year, up to 36 weeks duration. The residence is closed for Christmas, 21st December – 4th January, inclusive.

All students pay for their academic year of 36 weeks in 2 installments:

Should you cancel your booking after you have paid your deposit and taken up residence, you are liable for full accomodation fees. Glenard will use its reasonable endeavours to re-license the room. In the event that Glenard is able to re-license the room, you will be entitled to receive credit for the balance of the accommodation fees paid by you in advance which corresponds to the period in which the room is re-licensed. Students who cancel their accommodation after paying the deposit will not receive their deposit back.
